Food Culture & Education
Food culture/
Food education promotion project
We are actively promoting the event to deepen consumers' understanding of Kyoto's traditional, highly skilled foods, which represent Japan's food culture, and its unique food culture, with the aim of practicing healthy eating habits in the future and fostering a comprehensive awareness of food.
We also carry out projects to maintain and develop the technology and skill levels that support the food culture and eating habits of the prefecture's residents.

Business Overview
Promotion of traditional Kyoto foods
By exhibiting and promoting Kyoto's historical and representative foods, we are working to introduce and raise awareness of Kyoto's food culture as a whole, with Kyoto's traditional foods at its core, including the history and culture of food processing techniques, rather than just focusing on individual foods.
Promoting food education and food culture
We participate in the Kyoto Food Education Network and hold experiential learning courses to spread and raise awareness of food education, promote food culture, and advance food education. In order to further improve the qualifications of food workers and encourage them to take on leadership roles, we honor those who have been engaged in food manufacturing in Kyoto for many years and possess outstanding techniques and skills, in order to contribute to the development of successors in the food-related industry as a whole.
Support for designation as a "Kyoto traditional food"
We support the designation of "Kyoto Traditional Foods" based on the "Kyoto Prefecture Traditional and Cultural Manufacturing Industry Promotion Ordinance." By hosting and exhibiting at exhibitions themed on traditional Kyoto brand certified foods, we are contributing to the promotion of Kyoto's food industry by promoting Kyoto's food culture and lifestyle, disseminating information, and promoting dietary education.
