The association is made up of 14 divisions representing 11 different confectionery industry associations and 3 regions throughout Kyoto Prefecture, and contributes to the development of the Kyoto confectionery industry. In order to train successors, the association also works to promote the industry as the parent organization for the Kyoto Prefectural Confectionery Technology College.
