Since the original establishment of our association in the Edo period, we have striven to preserve the traditions of high-quality confectionery while also striving to improve quality. We have also overcome numerous trials and difficulties, including two world wars, and continue to strive to preserve and pass on Kyoto confectionery culture to this day. Since our association was established in 1962, we have established a foundation through collaboration with the Kyoto Prefecture Confectionery Industry Association and the traditional crafts industry, and we are promoting traditional techniques, unique flavors, and seasonal flavors to consumers. We also strive to promote and develop related industries, including by encouraging the development of successors.
