Overview
Starting with Kagami mochi and Hanabira mochi for the New Year, they offer a variety of seasonal Japanese sweets, such as Fukumame Daifuku for warding off evil spirits during Setsubun, Uguisu mochi, Hishi mochi, Yomogi dango, Hanami dango, Sakura mochi, Kashiwa mochi, Chimaki, Minazuki, Ankoro mochi, Mizu yokan, Kudzu manju, Kuri mochi, Tsukimi dango, Inoko mochi, and Ohitaki manju. In addition, they offer sweets that are closely tied to Japanese customs and lifestyles throughout the year, such as Sekihan (red rice), Ohagi (rice balls) and O-kesoku (white rice cakes) for the Spring and Autumn equinoxes and Obon. They are a beloved Kyoto man-ya and mochi shop.
